Meet Paola

Paola Rossi is an actress and writer. She promotes Latinx inclusion in theater and film with her beautiful Spanish accent as the best complement to her in and proud of being bilingual. She lived in New York City creating memories and getting acting training where you could’ve find her with Shakespeare books and the spark to keep dreaming. She’s now in the Dominican Republic, where she was born and raised, enjoying the sun, the beach and new productions to come.

Paola Rossi was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. She is a graduate of the Meisner Acting Technique at The Neighborhood Playhouse. Prior training includes the John Armond Studio in Las Vegas, Acting for Film at the New York Film Academy, and Musical Theater at Show Time in the Dominican Republic.

Her debut performance of María de Toledo at the National Theater of the Dominican Republic in the Musical Montesinos and in New York for El Nogalar (Dunia) at the La Micro Theater. She captivated the eyes of many by playing the character of King Lear in a female version in Lear Warrior King at Rita Morgenthau Theater.

Representing immigrants in the International Human Rights Festival in the drama short play Ayepo’s Three Mothers (mother). She recently showed off her comedic side in the comedy Dead Game (Dinah) for the Queens Short Play Festival.

And her debut in the short-film Saint Vegas as Vero.
